The Maybees Story

Bike loves hibiscus, watching old movies, always wishes on the first star.  Bike often helps others just by listening.  He believes that everyone really has all the answers to their own questions.

Maybee We’ll Go For A Bike Ride”
Bike arrived at the hive after Jake,a 9 year old boy who lives in Wisconsin, asked his mother if they could go for a bike ride.
Bike has been at the hive for a very long time.  Although Bike would never call himself this, he is the leader of the group.  Everyone goes to him for advice. Bike is very even, calm, never gets too excited, and has a way of making everyone feel important.
Bike is the only one that has ever actually talked to the Queen.

Hive 5

The Maybees live in a world that lies somewhere between “yes “ and “no.”  Each of the Maybees arrive when a child’s request is answered with the word “maybe.”  When they arrive, they bring with them the item or marker of the child’s request.  Bike always carries his Bike because Jake wanted to go for a bike ride.
The hive has many of the things that you might find in any town.  There is the Nectar Café that serves specialty beverages, a popular meeting place for The Maybees.  A Hall of Fame that displays pictures of the Maybees that are now real bees living in the real world.  How did they become real?  Their maybe became a yes.
There is of course a Queen who rules the hive.  She is unfortunately not a happy camper.  “Off with their wings!” she exclaims if a bee has been at the hive for more than a month.  In her mind a Maybee that has been at the hive that long will never become a yes so he might as well be put to good use and work in the larva farm.  A dark, cold and according to Bike, smelly place in the catacombs of the hive.
It is with this constant threat that the Hive Five have set out to change the world one es at a time.
Join the team of Maybees as they try to solve the problems that prevent the the yeses.
